Interim Recruit have another Interim General Manager job vacancy for a Middlesbrough based client handled by our North East office.
An established energy company is currently seeking a General Manager for their Middlesbrough site. The role will cover a 9 month period with the opportunity to extend.
This business has undergone major structural change in the past 12 months. To support the change programme this varied role will broadly focus on streamlining site operations, looking at both efficient input and output, and working to maximise costs. The successful candidate will also be tasked with managing a multi-disciplined team. As such, extensive experience of people management is a must.
Other duties to include:
• Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are met
• Manage planned and reactive site maintenance
• Full responsibility for site P&L
• Running regular product, pricing and competitor analysis
• Providing innovative solutions to improve productivity and quality
This exciting opportunity is best suited to candidates with relevant qualifications in a related mechanical discipline. Experience of leading a large team and a full understanding of energy industry regulations are essential.
Candidates will need to be hands-on, dynamic and natural influencers, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar managerial role.
