Interim Recruit have another Interim Logistics Manager job vacancy for an Edinburgh based client handled by our Scotland office.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Manager for a leading pharmaceutical company based in Edinburgh. Working initially on a 9 month contract, there is the possibility for this role to extend beyond this time.
Primarily, this role will support strategic and operational projects as the company focusses on its reach and impact across the UK and Europe. The focus will be on leading the logistics function on a day-to-day basis, working closely with the Logistics Director, and implementing company-wide best practice.
Key responsibilities:

• Managing contracts with UK-based and European suppliers
• Managing international tenders and supply agreements
• Overseeing import and export
• Advising stakeholders on logistics regulations
• Ensuring all practices are fully compliant

To be considered for this position, candidates must be a specialist in this field, with experience of driving supply chain strategy. A strong track record in logistics management, procurement, inventory management and effective relationship building is a must.
Candidates must be motivated self-starters, with an ability to work under pressure and hit the ground running.
