Following an exciting period of change, our client, a well-known retail company is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager for an interim 3 month contract.
The business has recently streamlined its UK offering, and this role will play an important part in the next chapter for the growing organisation. Based in Coventry, this role will work to implement best practice across the supply chain process, and refine procurement strategy in line with the company’s overarching business objectives.
Duties to include:
• Monitoring and assessing supplier performance and initiating improvement actions
• Ensuring all standard working procedures are in check
• Developing a short and long term supply chain strategy
• Mentoring and developing the supply team
This role would suit an experienced Supply Chain Manager with experience within a retail, or FMCG, environment.
The ability to remain cool under pressure, effectively guide a large team, deliver on specific KPIs within a short space of time, and apply an innovative, working strategy to suit the complex needs of the business is essential.
