Interim Recruit have another Interim CIO job vacancy for a London based client handled by our South East office

Our client, a well-known communications company, is currently recruiting for a CIO on an interim 9 month basis, to cover a period of maternity leave.
The role comes at a critical time for the company, as they embrace a new business strategy. This role will effectively implement this new agenda, and shape the technological vision of the organisation. You will be responsible for end-to-end IT services and this transformation, helping to drive change from the top.
Duties to include:

• Working closely with the COO to realise business goals
• Delivering a fit-for-purpose IT structure
• Providing innovative solutions to problems
• Effectively managing staff through the change programme

This role would best suit a strategically minded CIO with an impressive background in a senior technology role. You must have extensive line management experience, plus a great working knowledge of IT provision and management information delivery.
The ability to build effective working relationships within a short space of time is also crucial to this role. Candidates must be personable, approachable and able to inspire at all levels.
