Interim Recruit have another Interim Communications Director job vacancy for a Birmingham based client handled by our Midlands office

A leading, regional retail company are currently recruiting for a Communications Director for an interim 9 month basis, to cover a period of maternity leave.
Managing a large portfolio of clients and consultants, this is a hands-on interim role, and the successful applicant will be tasked with maintaining business as usual during the 9 month period. The company produces an integrated communications programme across social and traditional media channels, thought leadership and direct stakeholder engagement.
Duties to include:

• Driving proactive and reactive media campaigns
• Building relationships with a number of key senior stakeholders
• Engaging and inspiring people across the business
• Driving specific product campaigns

This is the ideal role for a strategic, dynamic Communications Director with extensive experience of leading a large team, and running a broad communications programme.
Candidates must have a passion for the retail sector, experience of slotting into an established team and creating value within a short space of time, and the ability to influence at all levels.
