Interim Recruit have another Interim Sales Director Job vacancy for a Glasgow based client handled by our Scotland office.

Our client is a forward-thinking, multi-site retail business based in Scotland. Now, due to a new growth strategy, they are looking for a Sales Director to join their team in Glasgow on an interim 6 month basis.
The main focus of this role will be to drive sales and play a key part in business strategy as the business works towards realising an ambitious growth plan. Reporting to the MD, you will be based in the company’s head offices in Glasgow, but your responsibility will spread across the region. Because of this, there will be an element of travel to this role.
Key responsibilities:

• Managing tender opportunities
• Ensuring efficient and profit sales across the region
• Managing and developing the regional sales team
• Enhancing market penetration
• Overseeing all regional marketing activity

Ideally, candidates will be of graduate calibre, with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role. The ability to think strategically, develop first-class relationships at all levels, and deliver outstanding results within a short space of time is essential.
